My name is Sarah, and I began The Hero Files in 2024 to show the kindness and compassion of people when others have needed help or support.
Featuring true stories of people stepping up to help others, including animals, in times of need.
This blog offers feelings and thoughts of motivation and inspiration for yourself and others.
You may be looking for ideas and ways to help or support others, for inspiration or positive feelings in your own life. That is what this blog is about.
The Hero Files was created due to my life experiences. I lived through a childhood filled with rejection and violence, a childhood that would be considered unbelievable if it were a fictional horror movie.
Through these life experiences, I have grown and strived to become the opposite of what I was shown as a child. Since I am aware of the feeling of pain, I am extra careful not to cause it for others.
In recognition of my life experiences, I have also grown, noticing segregated communities and separate individuals. Not separate in how we communicate, but separate in our ways of just getting through life: families, jobs, financial stressors, and just getting through our individual lives as best as we can.
With our separate life journeys, I believe there is a large reason we can so easily feel that we have no room in our busy lives to stop for a moment and consider others.
Think about how they got to where they are or what factors created an individual’s specific life path.
When we encounter a stranger or animal in distress, we glimpse their story, a fragment of what led them to that moment.
Each person carries a private life that remains unseen, unknown, and often unconsidered. It’s a simple act of empathy to pause and think about their journey.
We are all given different life tools from birth onwards.
Our life blueprint and surroundings are significant factors in our fate as life progresses. As much as our life blueprints create differences, as much as every one of us moves through life with the same or similar goals and needs. To be healthy and happy, to share and receive kindness and compassion, to not judge and to not be judged, and to gain success as much as we wish it on others.
Remember, this blog is not just about me or my experiences. It’s about you, it’s about us. It’s about recognising our self-worth and the worth of others. Because in the end, We are all important. We all matter.
